Office Coordinator- Full Time

We are in search of an Office Coordinator for our Liberty Center Management Office. Under the direction of the General Manager, the successful candidate will provide front desk and administrative support to the Management Office and General Manager, while emphasizing positive interaction with customers, tenants, vendors, and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems, other office equipment.
  • 3-5 years administrative support experience.
  • Excellent communications skills – verbal and written.
  • Good organization skills, ability to multi-task and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision and make independent decisions.

 

Guest Services Representative – Part Time

We are in search of a part time Guest Services Representative. The successful candidate will function as an ambassador for Liberty Center and must be available to work day, evening and weekend shifts. This position calls for professionalism in communication with the public as well as personal qualities, which include being services-oriented, friendly and enthusiastic. Assists management with activities, such as promotions and other related events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet visitors and answer general questions pertaining to the property
  • Answer the desk phones
  • Oversee gift card sales for Liberty Center
  • Provide strollers and wheelchairs for visitors to Liberty Center
  • Assist tenants with copying and faxing of documents
  • Balance gift card sales payments and compile daily shift close-out report
  • Process Lost & Found items
  • Oversee Coupon Book distribution for out-of-town guests
  • Maintain records of verbal comments and complaints
  • Provide event assistance for special events
  • Monitor the Cincinnati Children’s Discovery Center
  • Other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalence; two-year minimum of customer service experience which includes dealing with the public either face to face or via the phone

Maintenance Technician- Full Time

We are in search of a Maintenance Technician for the Operations staff. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will implement, coordinate and support, with a flexible and proactive approach, the Operations Management Program to ensure that the asset value of the center is maintained and protected.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements, coordinates and supports, with a flexible and proactive approach, the Operations Management Program to ensure that the asset value of the center is maintained and protected.
  • Has responsibility for performing maintenance and repair of the Center’s mechanical and electrical systems, utilities, custodial and landscape operations, wall and floor finishes and other components.
  • Uses various documentation to effectively and efficiently complete assigned tasks (i.e. maintenance and repair procedures, project specifications, base building construction drawing and sketches, manufacturers data, manufacturers safety data sheets, preventative maintenance programs and work orders, etc) as they relate to areas of responsibility.
  • Executes and implements preventative maintenance and repair for all systems and equipment using developed skills and direction from the Maintenance Supervisor or others. Also coordinates and performs maintenance and repair for other department systems.
  • Prepares written or computer-generated maintenance and repair records, logs, test reports, work orders, etc. to accurately document work performed.
  • Directs in keeping all equipment and tools in safe working order.
  • Monitors, reports and maintains the inventory of parts and supplies for the Operations Department.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to work in teams and be self-motivated and work as a “hands on” member of the Operations Team.
  • Demonstrates a professional customer service approach with all merchants, providing appropriate support to ensure that merchants are in line with their own goals.
  • Responsible for participating in the orientation, training, and associate developmental programs for new and established personnel to ensure that all associate performance levels are in line with organizational quality standards.
  • Assist security with the constant evaluation of the property for safety issues, liability issues and risk exposure.
  • Responsible for satisfying associate attendance standards, properly using associate time cards and ensuring requests for time off and vacations are in keeping with company policies. Overtime work may be scheduled from time to time.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in facilities management.
  • General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and BMS systems along with knowledge of cleaning and landscape procedures, program, and systems.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to work in teams and be self-motivated.
  • Must have the ability to work on computer programs such as preventative maintenance programs, BMS, word processing, etc.
  • Must communicate effectively both written and verbal.
  • Good problem solver and can work together in a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel

 

Security Officer (2nd/3rd Shifts)- Full Time

All security personnel are responsible for arriving to work, being dressed and in role call on time for their scheduled shift in which all assignments will be administered by the supervisor. Officers continuously patrol the center via vehicle or on foot including, walking up and down staircases, on and off escalators, and operating elevators while observing and reporting all activity throughout the center. Additionally, all officers must be able to communicate information, verbal and/or written instructions from fellow officers, supervisors, management, tenants and invitees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and calmly react to emergencies and activities throughout the center.
  • Enforce property Code of Conduct with all patrons, customers, tenants, and employees consistently using the utmost professional courtesy.
  • Write appropriate security reports and maintain security-filing system within the Communication Center.
  • Attend all staff meetings, supervisor meetings and training sessions as required by the Director of Operations.
  • Must be able to safely operate all security equipment and company vehicles.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as required by management.
  • All officers must wear and maintain their uniform provided to them by management and maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Properly enforce and follow all policies and procedures as designated in the Security Officer Training Manual.
  • All officers may be asked by the Supervisor or a member of management to perform other tasks from time to time as may be required.

  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Previous security, military, law enforcement experience or 2+ years of college coursework is preferred, but not required.

Security Dispatchers oversee operations of the Communications Center including, radio traffic, dispatching officers, tracking of officer’s assignments, and answering departmental phones. They are in charge of monitoring the property cameras, fire alarms and burglar alarms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee operations of the Communications Center including, radio traffic, dispatching officers, tracking of officer’s assignments, data entry of incident reports, and answering departmental phones.
  • Responsible for monitoring the property CCTV, Call For Assistance Stations, fire alarms and burglar alarms, & any and all Communications Center Equipment.
  • Must be able to multi-task efficiently.
  • All Security Dispatchers must be able to communicate information, verbal and/or written instructions from fellow officers, supervisors, management, tenants and invitees.
  • Attend all staff meetings, supervisor meetings and training sessions as required by the Director of Security.

  • Required computer skills include, but not limited to, Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and security access control software, and all other security software.

Security Dispatchers oversee operations of the Communications Center including, radio traffic, dispatching officers, tracking of officer’s assignments, and answering departmental phones. They are in charge of monitoring the property cameras, fire alarms and burglar alarms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate information, verbal and/or written instructions from fellow officers, supervisors, management, tenants and the general public.
  • Maintain equipment control by signing out property keys and departmental radios and other equipment.
  • Monitor and track contractors scheduled to work throughout the property.  Monitor Parking Systems and Traffic Counters throughout the property.
  • Monitor and calmly react to emergencies and activities throughout the center.
  • Enforce property Code of Conduct with all patrons, customers, tenants, and employees consistently using the utmost professional courtesy.
  • Properly enforce and follow all policies and procedures as designated in the Security Officer Training Manual.
  • Prepare accurate and thorough security reports that document information about the incidents that occur on company property, to assist with the evaluation of safety and security of the property.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly security filing system within the Communication Center.

 

Security Officer- Full Time

Security Officers continuously patrol center including walking the public spaces, driving security vehicles and bicycles on property roadways, patrolling staircases, hallways, escalators, and elevators while observing and reporting all activity throughout the center.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and calmly react to emergencies and activities throughout the center.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate, via radio, incidents and activities to Security Dispatch.
  • Must also be able to effectively communicate, using excellent customer service skills, a variety of information, to fellow officers, supervisors, management, tenants and the general public.
  • Prepare accurate and thorough security reports that document information about the incidents that occur on company property, to assist with the evaluation of safety and security of the property.

Facilities Maintenance Technician: Offices- Full Time

This role Perform general repairs, maintenance and replacement of building components, such as baseboards, ceiling tiles, drywall repairs and painting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform general repairs, maintenance and replacement of building components, such as baseboards, ceiling tiles, drywall repairs and painting.
  • Replace restroom fixtures, unstop drains.
  • Replace light bulbs, ballasts, wall plugs and switches.
  • Work is both indoors, outdoors

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills, and a working knowledge of plumbing, electricity, painting, drywall and HVAC.
  • This job requires some lifting in excess of 50 lbs., ability to climb ladders and working at heights in excess of 30’ on lift equipment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Familiar with HVAC preventative maintenance, controls stats, VAV, and Building Automation systems.
  • Familiar with performing Life Safety test and ability to keep accurate logs.
  • Familiarity with construction, plumbing, roofs, parking lots, garages and general building maintenance is essential.

 

Facilities Manager- Full Time

This role Implements, coordinates, and supports, with a flexible and proactive approach, the Operations Management Program to ensure that the asset value of the center is maintained and protected.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for maintenance of the shopping center mechanical and electrical systems, and review of all tenant construction.  Areas of responsibility would include both interior and exterior portions of the common area and project facilities.
  • Coordinates and /or assists the work of center contracted outside vendors including contract preparation as they relate to areas of responsibility.
  • Oversees documentation (accounting procedures, contract preparation, reports, analysis, budgeting process, preventative maintenance programs and work orders) as they relate to areas of responsibility.
  • Develops and implements a preventative maintenance program for all systems and mechanical equipment with the help of the Director of Operations. Also works with other departments to maintain an efficient preventative maintenance program.
  • Develops and maintains an inventory of parts and supplies for Operations Department.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to work in teams and be self-motivated and work as a “hands on” member of the Operations team.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the CAM budgets, as they relate to Operations, to ensure that budgets are in line with approved baselines.
  • Works with Director of Operations to develop long range budget plans for maintenance and replacement of major cost items (garages, parking lots, HVAC systems, roof, etc.).
