In 2015, Campus Partners, the nonprofit real estate arm of The Ohio State University, approached Steiner + Associates to handle the exclusive leasing and management of an exciting, 9-acre redevelopment on 15th Avenue and High Street. Now, six years later, the first tenants are officially beginning to move into what has now been dubbed, 15+HIGH.
Located within The University District at OSU—one of Columbus’s most dynamic mixed-use corridors—15+HIGH was designed to dramatically highlight the campus’s iconic main entrance to the campus and consists of at least six new buildings and a 9,000-square-foot event plaza.
Newly completed at five stories and 100,000 square feet, the first building will house Ohio State’s Office of Advancement, event space, retail brands like Barrio Tacos, Roots Cafe, LemonShark Poke and Bubbles Tea.
A sister building, also five stories and 100,000 square feet, is under construction and in the process of securing tenant leases. The third primary building of 15+HIGH is also now open and houses WOSU’s new headquarters.
The remaining three buildings have yet to start construction, but they will include an office and retail building, a hotel and a public parking garage.
The Steiner team is excited to continue strategically leasing, managing and promoting the vibrant, multi-block environment at 15+HIGH. This new community gathering space will serve as the link between the University District and the entry to OSU’s campus for generations to come.
